When do you need a roadworthy certificate?
In Queensland, a Safety Certificate (a.k.a. Roadworthy Certificate) is required in the following scenarios:
- transferring the registration to a new owner
- when transferring registration from a different state/territory to QLD registration
- when re-registering an unregistered vehicle
