Mobile Roadworthy Certificate

“At RAM’s Motor Repairs, we provide instant mobile roadworthy inspections and mobile safety certificates”

Our mobile roadworthy inspection covers the following components:

  • tyres
  • brakes
  • steering
  • suspension
  • body rust or damage
  • windscreen
  • lights

When do you need a roadworthy certificate?

In Queensland, a Safety Certificate (a.k.a. Roadworthy Certificate) is required in the following scenarios:

  • transferring the registration to a new owner
  • when transferring registration from a different state/territory to QLD registration
  • when re-registering an unregistered vehicle

A complete explanation of how a safety certificate inspection is conducted and why a vehicle may fail an inspection can be accessed on the Queensland government website: Vehicle Inspection Manuals.
